Meet The Team

John Sykes, MSW, LSCW (He,They)
Founder & Owner
I believe healing begins in connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. My work centers curiosity, compassion, and the creative process of becoming. I approach therapy as a space of co-creation, where both client and therapist bring lived experience and wisdom toward healing and liberation.

Daunte Henderson MSW, LCSW (He/Him)
Social Worker | Therapist
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, emphasizing empowerment for all involved. I believe in amplifying each client's strengths throughout our journey together. Guided by the principle that "people start to heal the moment they feel heard," I prioritize creating a safe space where clients can authentically express themselves and co-create positive change.

Almira Khan AM, LSCW (She/Her)
Social Worker | Therapist
My therapeutic approach is rooted in family systems, emphasizing differentiation of self and multigenerational transmission processes. I tailor interventions to meet each client's unique needs, fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship.
I excel in addressing issues related to trauma, intergenerational patterns, and disconnect between personal values and thoughts/behaviors. My expertise allows me to provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions for a diverse range of behavioral health concerns.

Jory Zhang MSW, LSW (He/Him)
Social Worker | Therapist
My healing practice is client-centered, collaborative, relational, adaptive, and creative. I am a firm believer in the mind-body connection and the importance of grounding ourselves somatically in safety. I am committed to creating culturally empowering spaces that center curiosity, care, repair, and joy. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing and social justice are deeply interwoven, and that every person holds the capacity to connect with their own wisdom and resilience.
