As a Creative Arts Therapist, I view art as a powerful voice for the soul and a pathway toward self-expression, healing, and identity exploration. My work centers on supporting children, preteens, and teens through creative and relational approaches that honor each individual’s emotional world, lived experiences, and unique strengths. As a growing clinician, I remain deeply committed to creating spaces where young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to express themselves authentically.
Over the past year and a half, I have worked with children, preteens, and families using a holistic and person-centered approach to care. My work integrates creative expression, mindfulness, emotional processing, and family systems perspectives while recognizing the broader social and systemic factors that shape a young person’s daily experiences and sense of self.
Through the use of creative modalities such as clay, painting, drawing, collage, and other expressive materials, I collaborate with clients in exploring emotions, building self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, identity development, stress, and emotional regulation. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where young people feel seen, heard, respected, and connected both to themselves and to others.
I work with children, preteens, teens, individuals, and groups from diverse backgrounds and identities, and I value creating affirming and emotionally safe spaces where clients can engage in healing through creativity, curiosity, and connection.
I look forward to supporting you and your family throughout your creative healing journey.
Should you choose to seek care with me, I currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna/Evernorth, Magellan, and UnitedHealthcare (UHC/UBH). For out-of-network plans, documentation for reimbursement can also be provided.
