I view my role in therapy as that of a co-navigator — someone who walks alongside you with observation, reflection, compassion, and accountability throughout your healing journey. I believe deeply in every person’s capacity to learn, grow, adapt, and transform. My goal is to provide a nonjudgmental and grounding space where you feel supported in exploring your experiences, emotions, relationships, and sense of self, wherever that process may lead.
My work is rooted in unconditional accompaniment, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and relational healing. I approach therapy through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens that recognizes healing as both deeply personal and shaped by the broader systems and environments we move through. Together, we may explore patterns connected to stress, identity, emotional regulation, self-understanding, grief, life transitions, and the ways the body carries lived experience.
I work with preteens, teens, and adults through individual and group-based therapeutic support. I am especially committed to creating affirming and emotionally safe spaces for Black and African American clients, queer allied communities, racial justice allied communities, and individuals whose identities or experiences may not always feel fully recognized or protected within traditional spaces. I value authenticity, emotional honesty, and creating room for people to reconnect with themselves in ways that feel empowering, sustainable, and grounded.
Healing is a lifelong and deeply cultural act, and the trust built within the therapeutic relationship is something I hold with care and respect. My hope is to support clients in cultivating greater self-awareness, resilience, and connection throughout that process.
Should you choose to seek care with me, I currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna/Evernorth, Magellan, and UnitedHealthcare (UHC/UBH). For out-of-network plans, documentation for reimbursement can also be provided.
