I believe healing happens most meaningfully when young people feel safe, seen, supported, and empowered to express themselves authentically. If you are here, your child or family may be navigating anxiety, ADHD, family transitions, emotional regulation challenges, medical trauma, traumatic experiences, or other stressors that can feel overwhelming or difficult to process alone.

I work with children, teens, and families using a trauma-informed, play-based, and person-centered approach to therapy. In our work together, I integrate creative arts, expressive play, and relational support to help young people explore emotions, process experiences, strengthen coping skills, and build greater self-awareness within a collaborative and nonjudgmental space.

My work is rooted in culturally responsive and decolonizing therapeutic practices. I have been part of the According to Sykes community for the past two years and also work with youth in a children’s hospital setting on the South Side of Chicago, where I support children and families through complex emotional and medical experiences.

I am passionate about creating a calm and supportive environment where children, teens, and families can feel understood while building resilience, connection, creativity, and confidence throughout the healing process. I believe therapy is collaborative, and my goal is to support clients and families in developing deeper understanding, stronger relationships, and more grounded ways of navigating life together.

Should you choose to seek care with me, I currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna/Evernorth, Magellan, and UnitedHealthcare (UHC/UBH). For out-of-network plans, documentation for reimbursement can also be provided.
