Meet Jory Zhang

ree

You are the expert in your own life. My role is collaborating with you to bring to the forefront your capacities and knowledge sets. I am a new clinician specializing in trauma healing work through an anti-oppressive lens. My intersectional QTPOC identities inform my practice, and I am dedicated to creating a culturally empowering space for your identities while acknowledging systemic injustices.

I have over 14 years of experience working in crisis intervention, sexual and intimate partner violence response, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care. In that time, I have worked with children, young people, and adults.

My healing practice is client-centered, relational, adaptive, and creative. I am a firm believer in the mind-body connection and the importance of grounding ourselves somatically in safety. Through authentic connection, I hope to nurture curiosity, bravery, care, repair, and joy.

I actively work towards decolonizing mental health practices and believe social justice is central to healing work. I welcome learning more about you! Feel free to reach out to set up a free consultation.
